Dustin Tatro is your WesTex Radio Operations Manager and Chief Operator. 

Dustin is a 25-year veteran of radio and television in West Texas, working with stations in Andrews, Odessa, and Abilene in some capacity over classic rock, oldies, country, red dirt, and Christian rock formats. He previously was the host and producer of At Night with Dustin Tatro, a nightly, interactive faith-based hard rock show that aired across West Texas on the KGNZ radio network as well as the internationally syndicated The RockDown Show with Dustin Tatro. He holds credentials through the Society of Broadcast Engineers as a Certified Broadcast Radio Engineer.

Dustin was the official organist for the Texas Rangers and Globe Life Field of Major League baseball from 2020 through the World-Series winning 2023 season. More recently, he served as inaugural organist for the Abilene Flying Bison. He is a Texas EMT and a firefighter for Hamby Fire/Rescue near Abilene, Texas. Dustin has enjoyed an extensive career as a church musician in both organist and worship leader roles for churches across West Texas. He serves as Organist/Choirmaster at St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Breckenridge, Texas. He holds both undergraduate and masters degrees in organ and choral conducting from Hardin-Simmons University. An advocate of the Big Country's vigorous non-profit community, Dustin is a member of the Board of Directors of Abilene's Global Samaritan Resources.

Tatro is married to Staci, technology instructor at Abilene’s Allie Ward Elementary School. They are pet parents to the Beagle twins, Louis & Loretta, and a tuxedo cat named Bella after Grizabella, the “memory cat” from Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s “Cats.”
